a New York building which was the tallest in the world when it was completed in 1913. It is on ↑Broadway and is 792 feet/242 metres high. It cost $13.5 million and was built by F W Woolworth for his company. The ↑Chrysler Building replaced it in 1930 as the world’s tallest.
